The next morning we drive from lovely Rockhampton to Airlie Beach, gateway to the fabulous Whitsunday Islands.
The drive takes a better part of the day, so once again we arrive in the late afternoon with no arrangements or reservations during the high Summer season.
Therefore, our only option was to stay at Hayman Island, "One of the leading hotels of the world". Also known as "One of the hotels way out of Erik's and Stephanie's league." But, man was it going to be awesome!!

Below, you will notice dock "F" and "G", but no dock "H". If you haven't heard the story, remind us to tell you. We're so proud!
Anyway, we head over to "Dock H" where we are to be picked up for our 45 minute charter to Hayman Island.
A large yacht picks us up, where we are greeted with,
"Mr. and Mrs. Calcott, we've been expecting you."

How great is that?! We've never been "expected" before.
Moreover, the glasses of champagne are already chilled and they whisk us (and only us) off to Hayman Island.
